Appointment Types and Request Types may be customized within Atrium. As a reminder, the Appointment Type indicates the setting for the appointment (ex: On-Site, Client Hosted VRI, LSP-Hosted VRI, etc.), while the Request Type provides more information about the focus of the request (ex: Medical Appointment, Document Translation, School Appointment, etc.).
A new menu item has been added under the Administration menu that is called Maintain Request/Appointment Types. Through this menu, you are able to edit the name of the various Appointment Types, add comments, and automatically add certain required attributes when that Appointment Type is selected. These attributes are in addition to any other required attributes that are on the customer profile.
Clicking the pencil icon allows you to make the changes:
Please note that you are not able to add or delete any of these Appointment Types.
You have even more flexibility with the Request Types. Here, you are able to add new Request Types, edit the names of existing Request Types, add comments, and automatically add required attributes for when that Request Type is selected. Once again, these required attributes will be in an addition to any other required attributes that are on the customer profile. Another feature with the listing of Request Types is that you can click on the Plus sign next to the Request Type to drag and drop the Request Type. This allows you to control the order in which the Request Types are shown on the request screen.
